These are the news stories that caught my eye this morning:
- Ted "Unibomber" Kazinski's personal effects will go up for auction on May 18th. You can see the items here. The U.S. Marshals will donate the proceeds to help the Unibombers victims and families. The collection includes the original drafts of the so-called Manifesto. Personally, I want the typewriter.
- Alameda County Supervisor Keith Carson has an awesome idea to get teens more in touch with the wider world - by letting them research their genealogy at Family History Center of the Oakland Mormon Temple. What a great way to get young people connected to the world around them and to their families! Kudos to you, Supervisor Carson.
